Movie Review: I Used To Be Famous

By: Jayden Gomez

The new Netflix movie, “I Used To Be Famous” is about a character named Vince trying to get back into the spotlight that he once was in.

After falling from fame to nothing, Vince finds himself playing music with a unique drummer.

He sees the drummer as his opportunity to rise to fame.

The film is a beautiful story with emotional scenes that course through the audience.

The learning curves, choices, and strength in connection play major parts in the movie.

Bringing light to music therapy for autism, this movie has an impact in the neurodivergent community.

Accepting others even when they are trouble or not of the norm is important and this movie shows that perfectly.

The new 2022 movie got a 89% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb, giving director Eddie Steinburg his third and best rated movie.

If you like music or relate to the story, this one's for you!
