The Netflix Film “Wednesday” was directed by Tim Burton and was released on November 23, 2022.

Tim Burton is known for fantasy-horror films like The “Nightmare Before Christmas”.

This film became the second most-watched series in the streaming platform’s history and is only behind “Stranger Things” series.

The series made its way to the top 10 in all 93 countries that Netflix monitors.

According to Netflix, more than 50 million accounts watched the series.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53, takes the role of Morticia Addams Wednesday Addams’ mother.

Luis Guzmán, 66, plays Wednesday Addams' father. Actor Jenna Ortega, 20, plays the role of the main character, Wednesday Addams.

At the beginning of the first episode, it shows how Wednesday constantly gets into trouble at school for the way she handled her brother's bullies, because of this her parents decide to enroll her in Nevermore Academy.

A lot of the scenes in this show are high quality and very gruesome.

Nevermore Academy was known as a school for the outcast as both of her parents attended this academy and this is also where the two met. They were excited to see her following in their footsteps.

Wednesday Addams is often perceived as being scared of nothing, rather everyone and everything is often scared of her. During her time in Nevermore, her dad sends a hand also known as Thing to guide her.

She becomes very close with her roommate Enid Sinclar but the two find a lot of conflict with each other because of Wednesday's nonchalant personality.

During her time at Nevermore Academy, she would face more bullies but she meets new people while having to uncover a mystery involving a monster and a bunch of murder attacks on the campus. Wednesday would uncover a mystery involving a monster and murders.

The show has only one season that contains 8 episodes; another season was announced but the official release date is to be determined. I enjoyed this show because of how well-detailed the crime scenes were, overall I rate the show 85% out of 100%. That said, the show is worth checking out!
