National Honor Society Visits Chase Elementary

The National Honor Society members took their annual trip to Chase Elementary School where they read books to kindergarten and first graders.
The theme for this year's annual tradition was inspired by the famous movie "101 Dalmatians."
NHS members dressed up as dalmatians to spread Halloween spirit for the Chase Elementary students.
“Since we do this every year for the past six years, it feels like we adopted Chase Elementary School, to do this every year for the children,” said Mrs. Michele Lomma, NHS Advisor.
NHS members read books to the students, colored with students and handed out candy.

“They were excited because it was their first time doing something like this. One Chase student said this is the best day ever” said Lomma.
Lee Pelletier and Ms. Lomma, the organizers of the event, were proud of the NHS members volunteering their time and hopeful to continue this annual event.
